Jennifer McIsaac, Registered Social Worker and therapist for moms and women in Calgary

Meet Your Therapist.

Jennifer McIsaac, Registered Social Worker (she/her)

  • MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK (MSW)

  • SUPPORTING MOMS, CAREGIVERS & BUSY PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE RUNNING ON EMPTY

  • MOM, DOG LOVER & REALITY TV ENTHUSIAST

Let's be honest. You're really good at taking care of everyone else. The mental load, the schedules, the invisible work of keeping it all running smoothly. You do it because you love your people. But somewhere between all of it, you stopped being one of them.

It's not that you forgot about yourself. It's that the list never ends, and your needs kept getting quietly pushed to the bottom of it. Now you're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix, stretched thin in ways that are hard to explain, and finding the room to breathe feels entirely out of reach.

Here's what I want you to know: needing support doesn't mean you're failing. It means you've been carrying a lot for a long time and you're ready to put some of it down.

Working with me means finally having a space that’s entirely yours. No performing, no masking, no taking care of anyone else's feelings for once. Just honest conversations and practical tools that fit into your real life. Together we'll explore what's been draining you, where your boundaries have quietly slipped away, and how to start showing up for yourself with the same energy you give everyone else.

You've been everyone's person for a long time. Now it’s your turn to have someone in your corner.

Book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit, and let’s start figuring out what feeling like yourself again looks like.

More Than Just a Therapist.

I'm a busy mom to an energetic two-year-old, which means I'm not just nodding along when you talk about the relentless pace of caregiving. I genuinely live it. When I'm not in session, you can find me on long walks with my rescue Labrador cross, unapologetically catching up on my favorite "trash TV”, or indulging in some of the finer things in life—like good chocolate or a home-cooked meal. I'm also deeply, unashamedly nostalgic for the '90s and early 2000s… my friends call me "DJ Stale Beats" (a title I wear with absolute pride).
